OBITUARY NOTICES.
The funeral of Mr William A. (Will) Keane, second son of Mrs Keane, a very old resident of Peel street south, took place on Tuesday last, when his remains were interred in the Ballarat New in the presence of a large number of old friends and acquaintances. Messrs Jas. Hawkins Jas. Lyons, W. Dark, and W. Haddrill acted as coffin-bearers; and the pall-bearers were Messrs A. W. Hager, W. Illingworth, W. Cartledge, and T. Hawkins (brothers in-law of the deceased), W. Steele, D. Murphy, F. Smith, R. Scarffe, and V. Datson. Service at the grave was conducted by the Rev. Father Close
