"Eating Habits of the Preschool Child" will be demonstrated by guest speaker, Mrs. Paul Soll at the Gatewood Preschool Study Group meeting 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the home of Mrs. Francis Deam, 4714 W. Willow St. Mrs. Soll will be introduced by the study group chairman, Mrs. John Brooks. Assisting Mrs. Deam will be Mrs. Harry C. Monroe and Mrs. J. H. Osborn.

Barbara K. Soll, longtime West Seattle resident, died March 29 at age 74.
Mrs. Soll was a 1928 graduate of Queen Anne High School and attended Central Washington State College and the University of Puget Sound. She worked in early childhood education in schools and later was employed by the Boeing Co. She was the recipient of a Matrix award and was awarded a lifetime membership in PTA for many years of work at E.C. Hughes and Madison Junior High schools. She was a longtime member of the West Seattle Women's Democratic Club and served as a precinct committeewoman. She was a Washington State Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in New York in 1976. She was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church and the Evergreen Rock Club.
Mrs. Soll was preceded in death by her husband Paul and son Paul Frederick. Survivors include daughters, Janet Tossey, Seattle, and Claudia Lancaster, Kelso; brothers, Joseph Klemmer, Vancouver, Wash., and Lawrence and Ralph Klemmer of Arizona; eight grandchildren.
Private graveside services and interment were in Forest Lawn Cemetery.[SS cousins.FTW]
