Mrs. E. Stoneberger
ELKTON - Mrs. Emma Utz Stoneberger, 85, of Rt. 3, Elkton died Friday morning at
Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She had been in ill health several years.
Mrs. Stoneberger was born April 18, 1889 in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Henry F, and Josephine Shifflett Utz.
On Feb. 28, 1912 she married John David Stoneberger, who died in November of 1939.
She was a member of East Point United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edna Grimes, with whom she lived; two sisters, Misses Nora and Ada Utz, both of Elkton; two granddaughters, and three greatgrandsons.
The funeral will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Sunday at East Point United Methodist Church by the Rev. Lewis Armentrout. Burial will be in Elk Run Cemetery.
Friends may call at Mrs. Grimes' home.
The body is at the Brill Funeral Home in Elkton.
