Embret Andersen, married to Else Larsdatter. Children: Ola, b. 1799 Lars, b. 1801 Magnild, b. 1804" Embret is yet another way of writing the name Ingebreth. SOURCE CITATION - ULLENSAKER BYGDEBOK, VOL. 3, P. 231: (Taken from letter dated 29 Jan 2000 to Arnold Offerdahl from Jan Kristiansen, genealogist at the State Archives in Oslo) "Fjellberg: Engebret Andersen ran this farm ca 1806 up to some time in the 1820's (he supposedly came from another parish). He was married to Else Larsdatter, and 3 children are known; Nils, who came to Ellingsrud farm Berte Marie, who died at age 1 1/2. It can't be proved exactly when Engebret moved from Fjellberg, and neither where to. But he lived on Kopperudeie when he died in 1843, at 81 years of age. His wife died 6-7 years earlier and became 86 years old. SOURCE CITATION - DEATH: (Taken from letter dated 29 Jan 2000 to Arnold Offerdahl from Jan Kristiansen, genealogist at the State Archives in Oslo) I have checked the death records on Engebret Andersen: Ullensaker church register no. 14 b, page 412 b: Date: 27 Jun, buried 2 Jul, 1843 Name: Widower Engebreth Anderson, pauper, 81 years, Kopperudeie. (Jan Kristiansen's note: the ages as shown on the death records are probably wrong. This can be explained by the fact that they were not born in Ullensaker parish, thus the rector couldn't easily check their baptism records, and instea d he probably wrote down an age on them based on how old he thought they were. As you can see, the birth years as determined by the death records (1762 and 1851) do not correspond at all with the birth years we can deduce from the 1801 Census (bo th born ca. 1766/67). SOURCE CITATION - LETTER DATED 01 MAY 2000 TO ARNOLD OFFERDAHL FROM TORE BJERKEK: What I now suspect is that Lars Engebretsen's parents who farmed Fjellberg (Fieldberg in the 1801 census) and who Birger said came "utenbygdsfra" actually came from Nannestad and particularly from Stensgård which at that time was a seter und er Nannestad prestegård (rectory). Steinsgård had many cottagers on their lands and two of them had names very similar to Egeberet Andersen and Elise Larsdatter.
