About Engr. Julian Cabling Vallarta, Sr.

Engr. Julian C. Vallarta, Sr. was part of the second batch of "Pensionados" sent to study in the US in 1904. He hailed from San Isidro, Nueva Ecija.

He went to study at St. Vincent's College in Los Angeles and at the State University of Iowa - College of Applied Science, where he completed his civil engineering degree in 1909.

Upon his return to the Philippines, he joined the Bureau of Public Works as a Junior Assistant Engineer. He went on to become the District Engineer of Bataan Province.

On September 28, 1928, he was appointed to the Board of Examinees for Civil Engineers.
