Ensign Jonathan Stone, eleventh child of Simon and Mary, b. Dec. 26, 1677, was thrice married. His first wife (whom he mar. Nov. 15, 1669), Ruth Eddy, b. Nov. 3, 1681 bore him one son, Jonathan. His second wife, Mary, d. June 24, 1720 without issue, and he mar. Nov. 15, 1720, Hepzibah Coolidge, b. Feb. 27, 1681, who bore him three children. (Harris' Epitaphs)
