About Ensign Samuel Odell
We know a lot about Ensign Samuel Odell, but there is a small bit of confusion vis a vis the name of his wife.
In The New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Volume 46, the reference makes it look like his widow's name was Deborah (see below).
In History and Genealogy of the Families of Old Fairfield, Volume 1 edited by Donald Lines Jacobus, his wife's name is given as Joanna Walker, born in Boston, MA on May 5, 1677, daughter of Joseph Walker. (see screenshot attached to profile for details)
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Walker-751 has additional references for the children of Joseph Walker and Abigail Prudden that are good sources, and also give Ensign Samuel Odell's wife as Joanna Walker, daughter of Joseph and Abigail.
