Eric Jeffrey Lucas

My darling Dad, Eric Lucas, was with us for such a short period of time. He was handsome, imacculately dressed (had the shiniest shoes you have ever seen in your life), would give you the shirt of his back and loved a drink and a get together. He was designer clad in rayban sunglasses before it became fashionable.

He was a fantastic cook and being an insomniac would have cooked up a storm before we all got up with the classic line "here taste this and tell me if you have ever tasted anything like this in your life before.

He was a great Dad and adored all of his children. He was a wonderful provider and generous to a fault and nothing thrilled him more than to give one of us a gift and see a big happy smile as a result of his efforts. The most precious thing in his life was his family and nothing made him prouder than seeing us all sitting together with him and Mum in Church. He had his faults but all in all was taken away from us far too soon. I still miss him. Thank you for everything Dad.
