About Erich Gottlieb
Gottlieb, Erich, 95, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009. He was the beloved husband of 68 yrs. to Irma (nee Glahs), devoted father to Evelyn (Danny) & Bernice (Mel), loving grandfather to Jeffrey (Becky) & Leslie and "super papa" to great granddaughter, Sophia. He will be lovingly remembered by all as a kind, gentle man who helped out when & wherever he could and as the recipient of the US Army's highest civilian award, the Medal of Freedom, for his meritorious service to his adopted country in the China-Burma Theatre during WWII.
