About Erich Gottschalk
Possibly this Erich Gottschalk, born in 1906, is the same Erich mentioned by author, Professor Kevin E. Simpson in chapter 7 "The Curious Story of Dutch Soccer during the Nazi Occupation" in his book Soccer under the Swastika: Stories of Survival and Resistance during the Holocaust. If yes, Erich Gottschalk may have survived the Shoah, whereas his wife and small daughter did not.
