Is the likely son of Bertil Jönsson. Backman (1995) lists two more children of Bertil, siblings to Erik, both NN and buried in Arboga, Sweden 1651-09-16 and 1653. The maternity of those two is unclear. Though, since Erik was born around 1620, it is here ‘assumed’ that he originates from the first marrige. That is, if Bertil is his father at all.

Bourgeois in Arboga 1638-07-03 as a skipper. Adultery (Swedish: lägersmål) with Brita Larsdotter 1641-11-25 (Backman 1995, 264). Merchant and skipper in Västerås from c. 1654, became blind during his latter years. Buried in Västerås at 1683-03-18 as "63 years old".
