Erik E. Mohn, 84, died in Whitefish Wednesday evening. Mr. Mohn was residing with his son at 327 O'Brien Ave. in Whitefish. Mr. Mohn was born June 28, 1884, in Norway and at the age of four came to the United States with his parents and four brothers and sisters. The family settled at Grafton, N.D., where Mr. Mohn received his schooling. Dec. 31, 1913, he was married to Alma J. Lee in Grafton and they resided there until 1922 when they moved to northwest of Kalispell. Dec. 27, 1944, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma. In 1945 he moved to Kalispell and resided until 1963 when he moved to Spokane. In 1965 he returned to Whitefish to live with his son, LeVern Mohn. Mr. Mohn is survived by one daughter Mrs. Opal Marie Holden of Spokane; two sons Emery of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and LeVern of Whitefish; one brother, Carl J. of Minot, N.D.; one sister Mrs. Clarence C. (Ida) Nelson of Everett, Wash.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Mohn have been set for Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Waggener & Campbell Chapel. Interment will follow in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
