About Erik Johan Stråhle
Erik Johan Stråhle continued with his father's weaving mill. He also took part in the shipping and export of timber. In 1831 the weaving mill was destroyed by a fire. It was partially restored, but was closed in 1840.
In 1815 Erik married Erika Sofia Henriksdotter Sjöberg (1791-1861), the daughter of Henrik Sjöberg, a tradesman of Porvoo.
He was a Poorvoo industrialist, and ship owner.
He purchased Perheniemi Manor at auction in 1835.He passed away in 1836, and left the Manor and property to his son, Erik Johan Strahle jr.
