Hans died at Dunkirk and Eva was on the Czech Kindertransport organized by Nicholas Winton in 1939. She returned to Prague after the war.
Erna Bonn was interred in Terezin. She made dolls for the children from scraps of fabric and wool.
The dolls that Erna Bonn made in the Terezin ghetto are displayed today in the Terezin Museum and photos of them are in the book "Terezin, a guide to the permanent exhibition in the Ghetto Museum in Terezin"..
