EASTPORT - A family that escaped Nazi Germany will be honored today when the Rosa and Arnold Vogl Mental Health Wing is formally opened at the Roland B. French Medical Center. 30 Boynton Street, Eastport, Maine 04631

The dedication ceremony and open house will begin at 2 p.m. today.

The $437,000 project began several years ago as a result of a gift from the Erna V. Fisher Trust of Boston, Mass.

In 1995, as the board of directors, was looking at new services for the community, said Linda Godfrey, past president of the board, the health center was presented with a $450,000 gift from the Fisher trust.
