Services for MRS. ERNA GROM NOXON of 115 Erie St., will be at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Edward J. Ryan Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church where a solemn requiem Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Mrs. Noxon died yesterday at Castle Rest Nursing Home.
She was the widow of Edward F. Noxon who owned the Noxon Plating Works. A life resident of Syracuse, she was a communicant of St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a former president of the People's Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Liederkranz Auxiliary, the Catholic Women's Club and the Hazard Branch Library Club.
She is survived by a brother, John C. Grom, and two nieces, Mrs. Edward Bierman and Mrs. William A. May, all of East Syracuse. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 1628 W. Genesee St.”
