This is my grandfather. I believe that his family emigrated from Sweden when he was four years old.
Here is the record of his emigration:, which is dated 26 August 1887. His birth year is correct, name shown as Ernst Rudolf Granstrom (with umlaut over o). His destination is shown as Muskegon. The database name is EmiHamn. Archive number is: 1887:281:1709 I believe that there were several older children in his family on the trip.

The website where I found the reference to 1892 is a Mormon website: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J6RS-42P I will try to confirm through Ellis Island. The Britannic was a Norwegian ship of the White Star Line. It arrived on September 9, and the passengers apparently were processed on September 10, 1892.
