Earnest Lee Hudson is an American actor. He has starred in dozens of film and television roles throughout his career, but is perhaps best known for his roles as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters series, Sergeant Darryl Albrecht in The Crow, and Warden Leo. . Glynn on HBO's Oz. Hudson also starred in the films Leviathan, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Airheads, The Basketball Diaries, Congo, Miss Congeniality and played Turner in The Ron Clark Story. He had a cameo appearance as Patty Tolan's uncle in the Ghostbusters remake, and will be repeating Winston in the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
He is well recognized for his role as Winston in the Ghostbusters franchise. He's also recognized for his roles in The Crow and Warden as Sergeant Albrecht and Warden. He gained even more prominence as Leo Glynn in Oz. In 2015, he began co-starring in the Netflix original series Grace and Frankie, which he wrote and produced.
Before becoming famous for his role in Ghostbusters, he worked as a supporting actor in films such as The Dukes of Hazzard.
After graduating from high school, he joined the Marine Corps.
In 1985, he married Linda Kingsberg. Rahaman, Ernie Jr., Ross, and Andrew are his four sons.
