Ester Dunham

Hester/Esther was much more likely born in Massachusetts where he parents lived. Her brothers moved from Massachusetts to Woodbridge in the mid-1680's and perhaps Esther/Hester traveled with them. Her father died in 1681 so she may have been taken in my one of her brothers.

These May Certify all Persons that Jonathan Dunham was Married to Easter Rolph the 5th day of February 1696. By me Samuel Hale Justice. Woodbridge and Vicinity, p. 327

These may Certify all persons Concerned that Ezekiel Bloomfield of Woodbridge was Married to Hester Dunham December ye 23rd 1706. by me Moses Rolph Justice Woodbridge and Vicinity, p. 320

(Moses Rolph is likely the brother of Hester)

1706 Sept. 1, Dunham, Jonathan, of Woodbridge, Middlesex Co., yeoman; will of. Wife Easter, sole executrix. Children—Samuel (under age), Eunice and Mary. Real and personal estate (land on the Rariton, bought of Thomas Nois). Witnesses—Benjamin Crumell, Ezekiel Bloomfeild, Joseph Rolph. Proved October 30, 1706. Lib. i, p. 160 New Jersey Calendar of Wills, Volume I, p. 146 (Hester/Easter married an Ezekiel Bloomfield as her second husband; perhaps this is him. The witness Joseph Rolph is likely her brother.)
