Esther Sue Arnold

Esther Sue (Taube; Goldin) Arnold, 85, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at her home in Sarasota, FL. Graveside services and burial 11:00am Sunday, September 15 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers; the family suggests contributions to The Alzheimer's Association.

Sue was born July 14, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Louis and Anne (Kramer)Taube. She attended the University of Nebraska and then received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of Sigma Delta Tau sorority at both universities. She returned to Kansas City and earned a Master's degree in Costumes and Lighting Design at UMKC. She was also instrumental in establishing a new chapter for her sorority at the University of Missouri in Columbia. In 1967 Sue moved to Los Angeles, CA with her three children and opened the Sue Goldin Talent Agency. She managed the careers of many actors throughout the entertainment industry. She operated the agency for 26 years, until her retirement with her husband Harlan in Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by Harlan; her parents, and brother: Jerry Taube. 

Sue is survived by her children: James Goldin and his wife Marla, Gayle Goldin, all of Los Angeles, Charles Goldin, Kansas City, MO; grandchildren: Deborah, Steven and Laura Goldin. Sue will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, friends and extended family.
