Baptism: "South Africa, Church of the Province of South Africa, Parish Registers, 1801-2004," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KYJF-8LY : 6 November 2014), Esther Susanna Constance Bailey in entry for Esther Lukrell Bailey, 12 May 1901; citing Baptism, Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, p. 325 326, William Cullen Library, Wits University, Johannesburg.
Godparents: Ryk Myburgh (uncle of mother's first husband, Vivian Myburgh); Blanche Myburgh (born Gray), married to Ryk; and grandmother Esther Susanna Abercromby.

Record of marriage here: http://www.1820settlers.com/genealogy/settlerbrowsemarrs.php?name=B... (NOTE: Although this is on an 1820 Settlers site, it is unclear why it is listed here. No evidence of Esther's father having been a descendent, at this point.)

Shows that mother's consent was given, and Ryk Myburgh was a witness. Christ Church, Kenilworth, Cape Town.

Converted to Catholicism when her daughter, Pamela, was 5. From Pamela's obituary: "Her mother was delicate and often travelled on board the ship with her father. As a result, at the age of 7, Pamela went to boarding school with the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in Weymouth, Dorset."

Lived in Edinburgh in 1945 (according to Ron Myburgh's memoirs - he visited her whilst billeted in Hove, Sussex after WW2).

Died at Malswick Cottage in Newent, aged 50, 3 years before her husband's death. They are buried alongside each other at Newent Cemetery, Watery Lane.
