Esther Ellis Orton

Second wife of Samuel T. Orton married 26 Dec 1877, in St. George, Washington County, Utah.

Samuel died and three years later on 12 Feb 1910, Esther married William Owen Orton (who may be Samuel's brother). William is buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Beaver County, Utah. (link to his memorial is below)

Samuel & Esther Johnson Orton had 12 children. Samuel had 12 other children from his first wife who was Esther's half sister.

The Ortons decided to name their eighth child TWENTY because that child would be number 20 in their family. They had a son and did name him Twenty, which caused some interesting confusion in his life when he told people his name or when he wrote it.
