Esther had a lot of siblings. One was Samuel Patrick who married Sarah Gertrude Louw. They had five children (according to knowledge), one of whom was Grace Patrick, my paternal grandmother. I do not know what happened to Sarah Gertrude (Grace's mother), but I do know that Grace was raised by her aunt, Esther Patrick who was married to a Fitzhenry (Arthur Fitzhenry ?) a farmer in the Jansenville district. Grace married John Baird Grewar 'Jack' - from the farm Kleinpoort. They were the first couple to get married in the church in Mount Steward.. Grace is buried on the farm Cauchassie (which adjoins Kleinpoort). This is where she and Jack lived in "the house that Jack built." Cauchassie is now owned by Donovan Rudman. Kleinpoort was split and part of it is still owned by a Grewar - Patrick Grewar, my brother. (info by Joy Smith born Grewar)
