Ethel Augusta Burger:
Services were held Tuesday in Canon City for Mrs. Ethel Augusta Burger who died Saturday at St. Thomas More Hospital at 84.
She was born in Green County, Ill. On Dec 1, 1885, and moved to Canon City with her husband, Harry Burger, now deceased in 1924.
Mrs. Burger was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harry Burger Jr., Tyler, Tex and Herschel Burger. Canon City: a daughter, Mrs. Mary Archer, Santa Barbara, Calif; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur Staats, Coats, KS. and three sisters, Mrs. Alma Miester, Whitehall, Ill,
Mrs. Freda Marks, Moro, Ill, Mrs. Cleta Siler, Wichita, Ill
The Rev. Robert Babb conducted the services in the Chapel of the Gardens. Interment followed in Lakeside Cemetery.
