Ethel Love

Ethel Wardle (Mrs Love). Arrived with her parents on 24th May, 1894, and was still living in Bulawayo in 1959. On Roll of Women Pioneers. (Rhodesia's Pioneer Women).

Message received from Jeremy Hayden, the great grandson of Ethel Love, on 12 June 2016:

"I have many memories of "Big Granny" (Ethel Love) from growing up in Bulawayo. She died when I was a teenager, then living in Harare. I drove my parents to the airport to fly to Bulawayo for the funeral. I would therefore set her date of death at either late 1974 or early 1975."
