See, for example, James Anderson, Royal Genealogies (1732, 1736), p. Table CCXV, p. 447, which says Ethelhard, King of the Saxons, A.D. 740, died 757, was son of Dieterich, King of the Saxons and Dobrogera, daughter of Billung, King of Wenden. Ethelhard married Heila, daughter of Ratbod, King of Friesland. They were the parents of (1) Albion, who was baptized with his cousin Witekind the Great, A.D. 785; and (2) Herman, who was slain by Charlemagne, A.D. 798.
