"The land in Great Kimble passed to his (Richard son of John) younger brother Thomas, who died seised of the manor of Great Kimble in 1485. Richard Hampden, his son and heir, held the manor, and also died seised in 1527, leaving two daughters, Ethelreda or Audrey and Sybil.
