  • Sources:
    • Census - "Census of Pointe Coupee, Louisiana, 1745" edited by Bill Barron (age: 31)

Birth: Jan. 4, 1712 Hainaut, Belgium Death: Apr. 6, 1747 Pointe Coupee Parish Louisiana, USA

Born & baptized in Macon. He was baptized on the day of his birth.

Etienne married Cecile Rondot/Rondeau on 29 April 1738 in Pointe Coupee.

He was buried on 7 April 1747. This grave was likely located in the cemetery of the 1738 St. Francis Church. The location of that church and cemetery is unknown although it is believed to be in the New Roads area of Pointe Coupée. If the grave was moved to the new St. Francis Church when it was built in 1760, the grave was lost to the Mississippi River. Only a few of the graves from this church were moved to St. Mary's Church in New Roads and none of those were for individuals who died prior to 1818.
