Eugene Edgar Holbrook

Eugene Edgar Holbrook, 61, 3630 Ogden Avenue, former florist and recently employed at Wright's Department Store, died late Tuesday of a three months' illness following a fall in which he suffered internal injuries. Mr. Holbrook was born in Ogden, August 16, 1874, a son of Walter Scott and Mary Bullock Holbrook. He received his education here, and married Margaret Jane Allen in Ogden, August 16, 1905. In the LDS church he was active in the high priests quorum of the Fourteenth Ward. Surviving are his widow, six sons and daughters; Lawrence, Walter, Edwin and Ruth Holbrook, Mrs. Nicholas Van Alfen and Mrs. Kent Call, Ogden; five grandchildren and three brothers and sisters, Walter Holbrook, Ogden; Alonzo Holbrook, Los Angeles, and Clyde Thompson, Oakland, California.
