Eunice Bailey

Eunice Houghton was born in 1739, the daughter of Benjamin Houghton and Zerviah Moore.[1]

She was married on 16 Jan. 1760 at Lancaster, MA to Jonathan Bailey.[2] Marriage intentions had been published on 1 Nov. 1759 at Lancaster, MA.[3]

They had nine children born in Lancaster, MA:

1. Eunice, b. 19 Jan. 1761; m. Reuben Wheeler Wilder, 6 Feb. 1783
2. Zerviah, b. 3 Sep. 1762; m. Joshua Willard, int. 30 Jan. 1781; d. 8 Jan. 1827.
3. Benjamin, b. 12 May 1764; m. Abigail Moore
4. Molly, b. 6 May 1767; d. 9 May 1831 (unm.)
5. Prudence, b. 6 May 1767
6. Mical, b. 24 Oct. 1769
7. Sarah, bpt. 18 Sep. 1774
8. Dinah, b. 24 Sep. 1775; m. David Holt, 14 Feb. 1802, and
9. Hannah, b. 21 Aug. 1777.

Following her father's death in 1764, and considering his extensive land holdings in Lancaster, MA, on 11 Oct, 1765, this real estate was partitioned between his many children, which included Eunice Bailey.[4]

She died in 1816, at age 76.[5]
