Eunice Ball (Viele)

DALTON, Mass. - Eunice M. Ball, 87, a former resident of Queensbury, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Crainville Place, in Dalton, Mass.

Eunice loved spending time with her family, her dog Maddie, taking rides in the country and coming home the long way. She also enjoyed "cowboy" country music, crocheting and especially playing gin rummy and holding one card for speculation.

Eunice was predeceased by her first husband, Harwood Viele, who died in action during WW II, her second husband, Roy Ball Jr., and her sister, Adeline Rozell, and Florence Losaw.

Survivors include her daughter, Lanita Buttles, and her husband, Bernard Sr., of South Glens Falls, her daughter, Janet Jenkins, of Lake George, her son, Gary Ball, and his wife, Donna, of Queensbury, her son, Randy Ball, and his significant other, Yvonne, of Queensbury, her son, Perry Ball, and his wife, Darlene, of Kingsbury, and her daughter, Lisa Garb, of Queensbury.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and her sister, Lenora (Lee) Miller, of Maryland.

A graveside service will be conducted 10 a.m. on Monday, May 3, 2010, at Southside Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
