About Eunice Clarinda Turner
Eunice Teeples was born in Nauvoo but when the member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were driven out, she was forced to cross the plains to the Salt Lake Valley with the rest of her family. Eunice lived to an old age and because of this and her young age when making the trek, she was frequently celebrated as one of the last remaining original pioneers.

They had 10 children, Thomas Henry Jr, Mary E, Harriet Ellen, Hulda Clarinda, Charles Abner, George, John F, Esther, Francis M, and Alice Turner.
