About Euphemia Thorpe
Raised one of her grandsons. He was my father Allan Bruce Thorpe's older brother named Robert Ian Gwynne Thorpe as well as her sister Lilian Hall's son John Hall at homestead in Remuera, Auckland. Her two sons were Robert who owned the Harp of Erin pub in Ellerslie, Auckand. (He is my grandfather). Her other son was the longest serving clerk at the Ellerslie Racecourse who did not marry or have any children.
Euphemia's mother Sarah Kean was born in Geelong, Australia.
