Euphraxia of Turov

Princess Evpraksya Izyaslavna of Kiev

Evpraksya was born in 1072 in Turov, Polbesye, Byelorussia.1 Evpraksya's father was Grand Duke of Kiev Izyaslav Dmitrij Yaroslavich I and her mother was Gertruda of Poland.

Her paternal grandparents were Grand Prince of Kiev Jaroslav Rurik of Kiev I and Ingigerd Olafsdottir;

her maternal grandparents were King Mieszko Lambert Piast of Poland II and Countess Richenza of Palatinate-Lorraine.

She had six brothers named Mstislav, Yaropolk, Svyatopolk, Svyatoslav, Vsevolod and Igor. She was the youngest of the seven children.
