About Eurie Tom Smith
Eurie (Tom) was 78 years old when he died at his step daughters home in Monaca, Pa. He moved to St. Petersburg in 1924 from his native Lulu, Fl and was a retired school bus driver for Pinellas County serving some 15 years of service. He previously was owner of an ice business in St. Petersburg for 31 years.
He was a member of Faith Temple and Faith Community Church where he was an usher for 30 years, member of church board and chairman of the Communion Committee. He also served on the board of directors of Florida Beacon College for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Rosa; daughter Evelyn Fath, Monaca; three sons, Troy Smith, Brandon, Lt. Col. Aubrey Smith (ret) Shoup ID and H.F. Touchton, Orlando; four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
