Iowa: she was 10 months old. 1900 Census District 37 Township 1, Pennington Co., South Dakota: she was 20 years old & married to George Jolly & living at husband's uncle's home. 1910 Census District 88, School District 15, Custer Co., Montana: she was 31 years old & married to George Jolly. 1930 Census District 25 Rapid City, Pennington Co., South Dakota: she was 50 years old & married to George Jolly (last name listed as Golly but spelled wrong).

OBITUARY: (Rapid City Journal July 15, 1963) Eva G. Jolly Rites Set Tuesday - Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Gertrude Jolly have been scheduled Tuesday at 2 pm, in the Behrens Mortuary. Mrs. Jolly died Sunday at the Dorsett Home in Spearfish. She had been a resident of the retirement home the last four and one-half years. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. Mrs. Jolly was born in Leon, Iowa, Aug 28, 1879. She moved to the Black Hills with her parents who settled on Box Elder Creek west of Rapid City. She attended city schools and was graduated from Rapid City High School. She was married to George Jolly April 16, 1889 at Nemo. The couple lived in western South Dakota almost all their lives, except 20 years they homesteaded in Montana. They had lived in Rapid City many years, Jolly died in 1958. Mrs. Jolly then moved to Spearfish. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. H. C. Williams and Mrs. A. R. Buhrer, both of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. C A. Hines, Spearfish, two sons, Merle Jolly, Spokane and David Jolly, Lawndale, Calif., 28 grandchildren, 71 great-grand-children and 10 great-great-grand-children; and one sister, Beth Little a resident of the Virgin Islands.
