    Evelyn Caryl Bootle-Wilbraham was born on 8 June 1877.1 He was the son of Colonel Arthur Bootle-Wilbraham and Elizabeth Jane Jardine.2 He married Joan Reeves, daughter of Hugh Reeves, on 31 October 1924.1 He died on 3 February 1955 at age 77.1

He was FIC, MIChemE, Minister Munitions WW I.1 He graduated in 1904 with a Clifton and Leipzig U Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) ).1 He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1
