Evelyn Rose Dockendorf

January 14, 1928 – August 3, 2013

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Evelyn Rose Dockendorf, age 85, who died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Marty, MN.

Relatives and friends may call from 9 – 11 a.m., Tuesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Evelyn was born in Pearl Lake to Henry and Mathilda (Pelzer) Nistler on January 14, 1928. She married Edward Martin Dockendorf on June 24, 1950 in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marty. Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and loved visiting with others.

Survivors include her loving husband, Edward; children, Bob of Carlton, Diane (Tom) Blommer of St. Cloud, Gary (Mary Lee) of Richmond, Linda (Jim) Sand, of St Cloud, Bill (Laurie) of Richfield, Steve (Cindy) of Champlin, Sue (Bernie) Gregory of Pearl Lake, and Mark of Baxter; siblings, George Nistler, Delphine Wirtzfeld, Ralph Nistler, Donna Dols, and Mary Tank; 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Adrian, Norbert, and Jerome Nistler and one grandchild.
