Other notable films include Here Comes Mr. Jordan, The Jolson Story and The Seven Year Itch, but her off-screen life often overshadowed her career. She was married to directors Charles Vidor, John Huston and bandleader Artie Shaw, and was living with producer Mike Todd during the making of Around the World in 80 Days, in which she had a cameo.

Actress. Best remembered as Scarlet O'Hara's sister 'Sue Ellen' in the 1939 film "Gone with the Wind." She began her career as a chorus girl at age 18 prior to being discovered by director Cecil B. DeMille. She made her screen debut in 1938 in the film "The Buccaneer." In 1939, she landed the part of 'Sue Ellen O'Hara' in "Gone with the Wind." Her career in film thrived during the 1940s and 50s. She appeared in such notable films as "Here Comes Mr. Jordon," opposite Robert Montgomery, and "The Seven Year Itch," opposite Tom Ewell and Marilyn Monroe in 1956. Her film career dissipated in the late 1950s. She continued to work being seen on such television shows as "The Love Boat," and "Murder, She Wrote." She was married four times, most notably to directors Charles Vidor, and John Huston. Her last marriage was to bandleader Artie Shaw. Keyes died of uterine cancer at age 91.
