THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO '... Rt. 5, Paris, died Thurs., Oct. 16, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services Sat., Oct. 18, at Gene Roden's. Born in Gurdon, AR., son of Miles and Lucinda McAlpin Daniel. He married Betty Freeman in 1915 in Lamar County. She died in Dec. 1981. He was a farmer and member of First Christian Church. Surviving are 4 sons, Nauphlet Daniel of Roxton, Lenoard Daniel, Harold Daniel and Billy Fred Daniel, all of Rt. 5, Paris; a daughter, Dorothy Daniel of Paris; and a brother, Truman M. Daniels of Levelland. He was preceded in death by a son, Morris Daniel, in 1976 and by a grandson, David Daniel in 1967.'
