Married (1) Semantha Jane Dickson, daughter of Mary Ann Stoddard and Billa Dickson on 2 December 1855 at either Moravia, Cayuga, New York or Prescott, Ontario, Canada, British Columbia. Three children were born to this union: Lucy Samantha, Isaac Chauncey and Julia Ann; Everett and Semantha divorced about 1860.

He married (2) Elizabeth Harris, daughter of Hannah Maria Eagles and Robert Jr. Harris on 12 March 1857 at Salt Lake LDS Endowment House, Salt Lake City, SL, Utah. They had fourteen children. They are: William Robert 1858-1858; Willard Arthur 1860-1937; Sarah Elizabeth 1862-1917; Everett Clark 1864-1864; Marie Antoinette 1865-1942, memorial #10275033; Peter Edmund 1868-1957; Mary Adelia 1869-1870; Edith 1870-1944, memorial # 10201251; Henrietta 1873-1953; John Milton 1875-1877; Joseph Daniel 1876-1877; Charles Leroy 1880-1961; Luella 1882-1882; and Arminta May 1884-1889.
