About Everitt Orrville Beach
Notes taken from probate papers on file in Warren, Ohio:
E. O. Beach
Born: c. 1840 in Allegany Co., Burns Twp., New York "DATA CHECK EVERET SON OF MILES AND EMELINE WAS 9 AT THE TIME OF THE 1860 FEDERAL CENSUS VERNON COUNTY TRUMBELL OHIO" PUTS HIS DOB AS 1851-52
(there are several variants of the spelling of his first name: Everett / Everitt / Evritt. There is no indication what the 'O' stands for)
He is mentioned in the 1860 New York census, in the 1870 Ohio census and in the 1889 - 1890 Trumbull County directory for Vernon.
Elise A. Beach was the administrator of his estate and was apparently his wife at the time of his death on 1/29/1889.
Three children are mentioned:
Clark H. Beach age 17 (He was born in 1881)
Austin L. (or Austrice) Beach - no age given
Alice A. Beach age 3 (This means she was born c. 1896)
Appointed guardians of the children:
E.J. Beach appointed guardian of Austin (?)
A.D. Beach appointed guardian of Clark & Alice
(Note: This 'Alice' must be the one noted on Clark's death certificate as his half sister. Also noted on the certificate was the fact that Clark's mother's maiden namewas Ferguson (first name designated by a '?' mark. This might indicate that Clark was married more than once.)
