General Notes:
One fantastic man. I remember as a child during World War II, while my father was "over-there" doing his job for our country, Grandpa would let me sit with him, let me have some of his ice cream, and always let me know the world was a wonderful place to live in. I felt so secure with my Grandpa while Dad was away. Then, some 20-years later, I think my life started to fall apart when in February 1965, Grandpa succumbed to a heart attack---only a few miles from where I was stationed--------on his way to see his Great Grandchildren. I never got to witness his final departure to HEAVEN, duty in Vietnam called me.

Rest peacefully Grandpa, we will have some ice cream again some day.
