Fabián de la Paz

In 1904,  he was sent as pensionado to the Western Illinois State Normal School in Macomb, Illinois (now known as the Western Illinois University) where he earned a degree in education. Upon his return to the Philippines, he eventually earned his law degree from the UP. He was Principal of the Tondo High School, a practicing lawyer (when he lived in Jolo), and a two-term congressman representing Pampanga (from 1928 to 1931, and then from 1931 to 1934).
