    • "Faith died 18 August 1911, giving birth to her fifth daughter, Marie-Josephine, in Alieh, Lebanon. She and her family were missionaries in Beirut. The cause of death was officially listed as "heart failure".
    • "She was buried in Beirut, in what was then the American Mission Cemetery. Her grave is beside that of her infant son Henry, who had died thirteen years earlier of cholera. Faith had never gotten over his death, and had hoped to give birth to another son.
