Wife of Elias Jacobs who was born Jan 1844 in Poland and died 30 Jan 1912 in San Francisco. I found Elias in the 1880 Healdsburg, Sonoma, CA census with the two children of he and Fannie. He has remarried to Huldah Bremler who was born about 1860 in Germany. Fannie is the mother of Amelia (I have also seen her name spelled Anetia but I believe Amelia is correct) born about 1869 PA and died 16 Feb 1929 in San Francisco and Soloman born about 1862 England and died 8 Nov 1927 in Portland, Multnomah, OR.
The mortality schedule has Fannie dying in Jan of 1880 of asthenia, the date is clearly wrong.

Sudden Death of Fannie Jacobs
Sudden Death On Tuesday Mrs Fanny Jacobs died quite suddenly at her home in this city. She has been a sufferer for several years from asthma, but of late had been feeling much better. Tuesday night she retired about 9:30 o'clock, but feeling a suffocation coming over her, was compelled to arise. She remarked that she would not recover, and Dr. Forsman was at once sent for. Her husband assisted her to the bed, where she expired very soon after and before the Doctor had time to arrive. Deceased leaves a husband and two children. The remains were taken to Petaluma yesterday for interment in the family burial plot, whre deceased has two children buried. |
