About Fannie Talbot White

Fannie was mis-named as "Fanny" in many family journal entries, notably by her younger sister Carrie, who journalled much of the family history from a young age. However, the 1880 census has her name spelled as "Fannie," and more definitively, she spelled her own name as "Fannie" in her marriage record, in her own handwriting, as noted by her great-granddaughter Carole.
