Emigrated to America in 1717 æ 9; settled in Conestoga, Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania; naturalized in 1729; proficient woodsman, guide, and hunter; served as a Ranger for British troops; bought 200 acres in Strasburg twp from his father 1737, had land in Lebanon, Derry, Lampeter and Hanover twps at one time or another; at death some of his land bordered Swatara Creek; Will written 25 Jan 1770 and proved 3 May 1770. Married second to Mary Elkin(s), born in 1708, Alsace, France and died in 1770, surviving Felix. By Felix she had sons Jacob (16 Sep 1752 - 20 Nov 1821 in PA), John (1753 - 1825), Christian (1757 - 26 Jul 1815 in TN), and Abraham (abt 1762 - 26 Sep 1805 in PA).

Felix purchased 57 acres in Derry Township where Spring Creek flows into the Swatara Creek. He was taxed there in 1757 and 1759 along with a Felix, Jr. He lived here until 1770 when the land went to his son Peter.
