Ferdinand E Rose, aged 94, passed away this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. C. Meyer of Orondo, following an illness for 12 years. He leaves three sons, Edward, residing in Germany; Ferdinand of Plevna, Mont; Alexander of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota; three daughters, Mrs. A. C. Meyer, Orondo, Mrs. Henrietta Finnigan of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Mary Asp of Riley, Canada.

Mr. Rose, a native of Germany, had been a resident of the United States for 44 years. He was a member of the German Lutheran church.

The funeral will occur Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Community Hall, Orondo. The Rev. Ward Folsom of the Waterville Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be made in the Orondo Cemetery by the side of his wife, who passed away in 1924.
