Fielding Alexander Stevenson was the fifth of seven known children of John Turner Stevenson (1808-1857) and Eliza Ann Ewing Stevenson (1809-1889), who married 26 Apr 1832 at Bluewater, Christian County, Kentucky.
Fielding married Mary Ann Hossley (1850-1922) on 03 Jun 1868 at McLean County, Illinois. Fielding and Mary were the parents of ten known children, namely:
1. Eliza (or Emilie?) Rowena Stevenson Garber (1869-1942) 2. Ida Worrell Stevenson Iden (1871-1951 (1931?)) 3. John Andrew Stevenson (1872-1900) 4. Fielding Alexander Stevenson (1874-1955) 5. William Henry Stevenson (1876-1923) 6. Adlai Ewing Stevenson (1878-1952) 7. Lewis Turner Stevenson (1879-1955) 8. George Edward Stevenson (1881-1947) 9. Ann Bell Stevenson (1885-1959) 10. Nellie Mary Stevenson (1887-1949)
